Welcome to Diss Museum - “A little jewel in Diss!”
There is something for everybody in our award-winning community museum.
Please browse through the site to find out more about us.
How to find us
We are in the centre of Diss Market Place in the old Shambles building, once a butcher’s shop. There are several car parks within walking distance.
The museum is open from mid-March until the end of October.
Wednesday & Thursday 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Friday & Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm
Sunday (May – August) 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Admission is free. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
The very popular Tristrum Carey display, Under the Radar, has now moved on and it has been replaced by items from the Diss Museum Collection which recalls the times when The Shambles - the Museum building - was a butcher's shop.
